I just saw these on the Nordstrom site and wondered what your thoughts are. Do you think they are too frumpy? I think they will work with my foot issue. I am also not sure which color would look most current.

Those are cute. I like them in white. I could see them with shorts or BF jeans.

Hmm they look like a hybrid to me as well. I vote try the white, the gray veers a little too athletic for me.

They aren't frumpy, at all, and I like the cross-strapping effect. The color is truly a toss-up for me, but it looks like you're getting a lot of love for the white. I think either one could work for you and isn't it great to find something that feels good on the feet.

I just think they aren't my aesthetic. The definitely have a cool factor in the unique cross between sneaker and sandal -- the color combos also work. I also think if they are styled well they could pop. I'm thinking cropped faded BFs

No no. These are sporty space age. Very cool. I'd have a hard time choosing colour. Better go with what Angie says (!!)

I have to admit I've seen similar shoes in action several times, and the effect was frumpy. However, it's all in the styling and what they are worn with. I really think that they wouldn't be on you given your sense of style and your outfits.

If you are thinking sporty space age rather than polyester knit pants I think you are good.

I think it is difficult to judge a shoe like this without seeing it on a model or, even better, on you. I agree with rabbit on the styling. Though I have to admit that 'Naturalizer' does have a frumpy connotation in my mind.
