The snake is in the gusset! And on the underside of the strap. It's a nice grey, textured snake.

I like the bag a lot. I think the snake adds just enough interest and you can zip it away if you want plainer.

The bag is approximately the size of an iPad, which is what I wanted, although because of the case on my iPad I can't actually get it inside the long way. I can however put it in the tall way but the top sticks out. That's ok though. It's also pretty lightweight which is very important to me.

I am keeping unless someone spies a fatal flaw. ;). I'm sure the white won't last as long as other colors but the leather looks pretty sturdy (it's a pebbled leather) so I think I should be able to clean it with rubbing alcohol. In any case the price is low enough that I don't need it to last forever.

The only minor flaw I see is that the snakeskin leather on the underside of the strap is just a teeny bit scratchy. Not enough to bother me when wearing on a bare shoulder but I'll probably avoid using this bag with very delicate fabrics.
