So the Cinq a Sept Khloe jacket arrived in my usual size 4. Photo appears like it might contain gray, it's a pure b&w large textured houndstooth. The jacket is TTS and shaped through the body. The fabric is a heavy cotton tweed, so it's very substantial, and the sleeves, although they are not narrow, get quite fittted around the elbow due to the ruching of the sleeves and the heaviness of the material. Length on 5"3" me, like the model hits at the base of the butt. It's very much in my wheelhouse although it's a statement. I do think you need to consider this is a 3 seasons jacket, it's too heavy for summer unless it's very chilly. It's not heavy enough to be more than light outerwear but if you need to layer a coat you need an oversized or a cocoon coat to manage the sleeve bulk. Nicely made. I did manage to snag the matching mini skirt but it has not yet arrived. (sheesh that mini has been a total sell out, seriously who else but me wears mini's? I was gobsmacked and spent several days stalking.
The Vince pants are different than expected. They have significant cotton but like another reviewer said they feel like a very heavy substantial ponte. There are no side pockets so be warned. Hit's at my waist with nice big belt loops they come to the ankle on me. Per the reviews I sized up, which I usually do on "skinny" pants because I don't want them tight. Seam in the front. There are a keeper, I don't a several vince dress wool and the cotton chino but these are great when you want comfort, no worries about creasing and mobility. Again, not a summer weight but should be awesome for travel. So a score on both pieces!
