Slouchy trousers for tall girls?

Thinking a slouchy trouser would be a great addition to my wardrobe, but where to find a fab option, and it must be fab, let alone something with a 34-36 inch inseam? Rallying Team Tall for any recommendations or fab finds.

Ah, I wish I could help you. I gave up on my own search and tapered a couple of older trousers, from when I was a bit heavier. I will be glued to this thread.

Good luck Kyle. I'm not even considering them let alone trying, with my 37-38" inseam I have enough trouble with more common styles
But, I've hearted this thread and will monitor your progress.

I got mine in Long Tall Sally (inseam 38 I think) and had the lags tapered a bit:

They have them on sale now a and available in inseam 38" only!
I am usually size 10 in LTS and I sized up to 12 for slouch. (pic 1-2)
I also got BR wide leg pants and got them tapered as well. Again I sized up to size 12.
The length was enough for me but they also had 1.5" of extra fabric.

Kyle, when the hems are tapered, do you really need as long an inseam?

Hmmm, interesting question, Angie. I think slouchy styles look better with more length, as we see in Sveta's examples and yours as well. Isn't that part of the slouchy effect? I think 34 would be the shortest I could go, unless there was hem to let out. Anything else would look like an ankle pant. We'd have to see it, I think.

Angie has a point here. I usually need a 33/34 inseam for flats, but my ink blue slouchy trousers have tapered hems and I believe a shorter inseam (will measure for you). And they still have a bit of slouch at the ankle.

Are you looking for a particular colour trouser, Kyle, solid or patterned?

Inge, I would LOVE a slouchy trouser in ivory, inky blue, steel grey or even something tweedy or with a pattern. I'm fairly open, color-wise. Tuxedo stripes would be brilliant, but I am keeping an open mind if I can find something with a fab fit. I appreciate the suggestions and follow-up questions. Sveta, you are a treasure as well as a role model.

If anyone has suggestions for a brand or style to explore further I can try to work out the length issue.
