slouchy, but not too slouchy trousers?

I was perusing Angie's list from this morning's blog post, and the one thing from her list that I don't have but want to try this season are trousers: specifically, some sort of slouchy trouser, in a texture-rich fabrication. But cross-over pants and harem pants are possibly *too* slouchy for me. And another big problem was that a lot of pants I've seen are cropped, which is also a no-go for me.

any other slouchy pants meeting my criteria out there? And how have other ladies who are...ahem, not small of thigh...finding these pants? I think I've seen mixed reactions on YLF.

I like the first pair you've linked to. I got my own slouchy pants by simply wearing slim leg trousers in a drapey fabric one size too large. If the fabric works, it makes for a nice look, and you know they will fit your thighs. I have the thigh issue, too.

Those Mango ones look great! And that is a super price, too!

This type of trouser can work fantastically on pear shaped women. It is all in finding the right ones! Sveta loves hers. Laura and Joy bought petites in Ann Taylor and sized up for a slouchy look.

I found pleats to be tricky for us "not small of thigh" gals. Depending on the cut the pleats can just stick out because of the hip width. It does not mean they will never work, just have to be more careful with them.
Flat fronted ones are much easier to fit. I love mine (thanks Suz) and find them really flattering for my curves. Give them a try!
