I bought this pair of sandals last year. I love them, and they are a pretty good fit considering I have a low-volume foot. The problem is, the footbed is not leather but is some kind of smooth, almost slippery material. I guess I don't produce enough oils on the bottom of my foot to produce a good grip on the footbed, because my feet slide forward badly. Any suggestions? If this were a closed-toe shoe, I would simply put in some kind of ball-of-foot pad, but since they are sandals, that type of pad might be visible. Are there any kind of translucent grippy things that I could use? Or is there some kind of goo that I could put on the footbed to give it texture?
