Slippers

Can anyone else with feet that need a lot of arch support recommend bedroom slippers with either arch support in them or removable insoles? I am surprised at how hard they are to find. I know Vionic but most are toe open and I want toe closed in. Thanks in advance

I haven't tried these myself, but my first thought was Mephisto:

They specialize in footwear that offers great support, so perhaps the slippers might work for you?

A bit pricy for slippers, but I have dedicated Birkenstocks just for indoor use, both open and closed toe, and can’t imagine anything more comfortable once they are molded to your feet.

I'm looking for a good slipper as well. My current Haflinger's are just too wide and the right length size for my narrow foot plus I need a little more flexibility in the sole. You might try those if you don't have low volume feet and don't mind a stiffer sole. I too need support. And warmth but don't like to be too warm in a slipper.

Not sure what "low volume" feet means? That I do not walk a lot? CJ like you I also do not want slippers that are too warm but do not want toes exposed...things like heavy wool lined slippers are not for me.

Aqarmarine I thought about closed toe Birkenstocks but hoping to find something not quite as pricey

Low volumned means narrow feet. I am AA with very narrow heels so I easily slip in and out of slippers. LL Bean gets some rave reviews for their mocassin type slippers. Looking on Finds I see slippers that YLF members have added. There have been posts in the past on slippers with lots of suggestions. Acorn are less pricey slippers though I have never tried them.

i swear by the ll bean. in fact, so does husband, daughter and stepson!! so comfy. and warm. and supportive.

I have something very similar to this Skechers pair. I chose it because the sole is thick and rigid and it has a removable insole, which I swapped out for my own more supportive and rigid insole. https://www.amazon.com/Skecher.....?s=apparel

I think I got mine at Fred Meyer years ago. Which is to say: You might want to check various places to see if you can find a relatively inexpensive "shell" of a shoe that you can put your own insole in.
