How do you feel about slip-on sneakers this year? Still current, or not? I like these and was thinking they could work with the Maddies. What do you think?

Oh they've totally jumped the shark as fads go. But there will always be Vans, and they're hitting the mass market. I don't feel there's a more perfect shoe for walking the dog down to the shops.

I think *pony* hair slip ons are the best bet for keeping some of that high fashion edge. Or pure white with white anklets for that Alice in Wonderland look.

I have not been able to find a pair of slip ons that give me the arch support I need and my feet end up hurting. How about Sperry Topsiders? Do they qualify, because I am seriously considering getting a pair after trying them on for about 1/2 hour at DSW. I think the SA thought I was going to walk out of the store with them on my feet. I thought about buying them and decided to wait a couple of months. They were soooo comfy!!

I have the ones Jeanne posted -- in silver and also in mint. To me, they almost seem like something that could become a bit of a mainstream classic because they're comfortable and easy to wear. We shall see. Nonetheless, I thought I'd share the floral ones I saw. Very cute for someone who wants to add some extra color and pattern to their footwear.
