Slip-on sneaker face-off! Which one?

I hope you are not bored with me yet! I've started shopping for the spring/summer and while I think I have a decent view of things, I'd love the opinions of people with a keener eye!

Slip-on sneakers look so great to me this year, but my shoe size is no-man's land, otherwise known as 10.5. Hardly any brands make a 10.5. Vans and Cons are too small in a 10, and too big in an 11. Other brands have proven the same.

I posted a couple of weeks ago about a slip-on sneaker that I had to return because it was crazy expensive and not quite right; while the size felt like it could stretch out nicely, the entire edge was a zigzag pinking edge, which scraped my ankle and heel when I walked.

I'd also tried on a pair of white perforated leather slip-ons that were too small, but after a few days I realized they also came in a 10.5 so I ordered them. It's mostly love for those, but couldn't get the neutral snakeskin pattern of the returned pair out of my head. I ordered the Via Spiga version in the same pattern since I'd read they run large and figured the 10 might work. They do! They pretty much fit just like the white pair, with the white pair having a slight edge in comfort. I could probably use a thin insole in both, but maybe once the weather gets warmer, my feet might take up more room. The white pair have the edge of being perforated, so they'd be much cooler in hot weather (I think; I've never had perforated shoes before).

They both look just right (to me) depending on what I'm wearing. I'm thinking about keeping both, but also wonder if the neutral snakeskin is too close to my other (new) neutral shoe, also pictured below. I really, truly would feel like a glutton if I kept both. As in, how specifically perfect does my footwear need to be for every outfit; vs. the feeling that "I want a sneaker-like shoe today."

Help??

ps -- I'm keeping the yellow skirt! Completely smitten with it.

I'm a small closet lover, so I vote for keeping the white ones and returning the snakeskin. I try to convince myself that I don't need to own everything I love.

I am drawn to the snakeskin… but I own a similar pair, so I am probably biased. I like that the snakeskin pattern mixes shades of white with darker neutral/taupe tones. It makes the shoe very versatile. But I agree that the white slip-ons also look great. I do not think it would be gluttonous to keep both pairs, but only you know your own budgetary and closet space limits.

I don't know if I am much help, as I really love the snakeskin ones. I think they coordinate well with every outfit you have paired them with here, and I far prefer them to the loafers (though I understand that the loafers might be more work-appropriate in some cases). I would definitely keep the snakeskin shoes if I were you!

Snakeskin if you can only get one...it seems more sophisticated and I doubt you would tire of it but you might with the white (speaking as someone who rarely wore her white sneaks last year but always defaulted to her more interesting metallic flats). We have the same coloring so maybe I am biased

Well, I don't think it would be gluttonous to keep both, but I'm desperate about shoes, and if I find something comfortable, grab it while I can. I think all three are different. If I had to choose one slip on sneaker, it would probably be the snakeskin. Then again, if you asked me in five minutes, I might say the white.

Tough decision, I like them both but I'm drawn to the snakeskin. Part of it might be because the white pair read as canvas on my screen. Glad you found some that work!

I like both of them. I can see why you are torn!

If the white didn't have the extra interest of the perf, I would definitely prefer the snakeskin. It looks like the snakeskin hit just a wee bit lower at the top of your foot so to my eye they are a little more flattering.

I think the snake looks more refined- but also I have sugar eye for lower contrast with leg. The close up of the perf's seems to show gapping at the sides-- how do you think they fit?

I see why you like both shoes! I slightly prefer the snakeskin, but like the white ones too. Both new shoes have a different feel to me than the tan loafers, which read much more classic for me, so I don't see them as that interchangeable, although technically they are a similar shape of shoe.

The white ones read as plain from a distance in your photos, so that may be influencing me, but I like the snakeskin a lot better.

The snakeskin. Definitely! (I've been thinking of getting a pair of these in snakeskin and seeing them styled in your outfits is only making me want to pull the trigger on the purchase even more )

In the photos I was always drawn to the snakeskin but I did really love that closeup of the perforated white. Ultimately I think I would say snakeskin.
And, even though I said I was passing this trend by, you are making me rethink it. Fabulous job of showing how versatile these are!

PS How are you getting the 3-in-1 photos? It's probably such an easy thing to do -- but I don't know how to do it.

I'm biased because I have a new snakeskin pair waiting at home, but I love the snakeskin pair on you! The others are nice too, but to my eye, the snakeskin wins.
