Maybe it is also the plasticity that also keeps these slides on? I thought my feet would slosh around due to sweat, but thankfully not. Normally, I would want a back strap, but these black slides are snug enough (or maybe stick to my skin enough) and are cut high enough up not to need on?
The big bone by my right foot's big toe is quite tender so horizontal straps and the weight they bear tend to give me problems so Carla's solution probably wouldn't work for me.
I guess the answer is never say *never*, right? There may be an answer out there.
