Anna, I had thought of Costco but I’d like something to last more than 5-6 years. Thanks for letting me know. I don’t mind paying for a good mattress if I know it’ll last 10+ years.
Rachy, your Dux bed looks delicious! I can’t believe you’ve had it for so long! I wish they had a store near me so I could try it.
Xtabay, your Saatva mattress looks very promising. I’m going to show it to my husband and see what he thinks.
MsMaven, I have the similar issue with my husband. I’m sleeping on “his” side right now and I think it’s contributing to my shoulder and hip pain.
Stylefan, we’ve been looking at a Tempur-Pedic. It seems they have reliable techology.
RobinF, mattresses are expensive! I want to make sure I do my homework to find the right one. I’ll be honest, I think the decision is harder now than it was when we bought the last one in our thirties. Now that we’re heading closer to 50, I feel like our aging bodies need a more careful decision and being on the eve of menopause, I don’t want a mattress that sleeps too hot!
cindysmith, that’s encouraging! Can I ask what temperature you generally keep your bedroom at night? I like the sounds of back and neck feel8ng better.
Jaileen, Simmons Beautyrest is readily available around here. We will check it out.
The Cat, I’m impressed that a mattress can last so long. You obviously made a wise buying choice. When you bought it, did you expect it to last that long? Is it memory foam or innerspring?
efbgen, I haven’t heard of Shifman but I’m wondering if the same will be true with these heavily hyped online mattresses like Casper, Endy and the like. I’m familiar with Simmons but I’ll check out Englander. Thanks!
