Skull ring Christmas present -- help me choose

I've always wanted a skull ring, and my honey got me one for Christmas -- or, rather, he gave me a choice between two. One of them looks a lot like the Keith Richards' iconic ring, as shown in the pic below. The other one can be seen in the link below (the website wouldn't let me paste the photo, for some reason), and looks more like a wedding band (actually, I think it IS a wedding band, for a goth wedding. I'm not a goth, but I still think it's pretty awesome, in a traditional skull-and-crossbones kind of way).

What do you think? Should I go all out rock n' roll, or traditional poison label?

I would say the Keith style over the one on that site. It looks too cartoony to me (unless that is the look you are aiming for!)

*swooning* Wow, I had forgotten that Keith Richards was quite a looker at one time. His ring rocks.

However, I would find the poison label-type ring to be more wearable for myself. I'm not sure I could pull off the huge skull, but maybe you could?

Commit...go for the Keith Richards version. If it comes in your finger size, it will be the proper proportion. This is not a time to be discreet!

Runcarla, I'm pretty sure it comes in my size. My husband's hair stylist has one that she wears as a pinky ring. Most pinky rings will fit my index finger (which is where I'd wear it). He said she'd let me try it on.

I hink I prefer the Keith ring:). My son has a cheap kids version of this and I wish it fitted me lol.

How does this work with your overall style?

I realise you Are probably looking for a statement but I like this too.

Yeah the Keith ring is iconic for a reason -- just wondering how it will scale for your finger, as the sides of the calvarium might not fit smoothly if your finger is really small. You'll have to try a bunch on

RoseandJoan -- thank you for that awesome website! Yes, the ring I like is made by a local designer -- he runs a business called Bloodline jewellery -- and it looks quite a bit like the jawless anatomical skull on the Great Frog London site, only perhaps not as smooth and shiny. It's blacker around the edges (i.e. purposefully tarnished).
