Skirt of the Day with White Shirt

Sorry for the blurry pictures. I only have one button down (REALLY hard for me to find one that works) and I don't love the length of it with skirts. To me it looks too long and I feel like there is a lot of white.

BUT I am happily wearing brand new yellow shoes! They aren't citron, but still yellow.

The shirt has seams in certain places so I can't move the belt placement much.

Love your skirt of the day! I think the shirt length is OK, but I agree that the belt is cutting you in half...it seems too wide to me. A yellow belt would be perfect, but even a black one would work: I think it just needs to be narrower. Your shoes have me drooling. :O

Oh duh, I have some skinny belts, they just aren't yellow. I will try one of those.

I can't understand how no one had bought these shoes yet - they had been there for at least a couple months because it was the final markdown! Never worn. Well, looking at most of the other merchandise I don't think they quite fit the average customer's style.

Ooooh! Looks great with the widest black belt (it looks like a stretch belt to me???) and with that grey cardigan--those two options break up the white adequately. I love yellow and grey sharing the same outfit! LOVE your yellow shoes.

I vote wide belt too! It gives you definition around your waist and shows off your shape. The shoes are terrific.

I love the outfit, great shoes and skirt! Definitely the wide belt, I'm not sure where the worry about being cut in half is coming from- it looks great! The others all seem a bit insubstantial for this outfit, to me.

I also like the wide belt best. I like the yellow shoes, but I wonder, what do you think about adding a pop of yellow to the top half of the outfit (in a necklace or scarf) to tie in the yellow?

Wow, all the wide belt fans! I will take another look at it with that. It's probably my favorite belt - so comfy - I think I'm just not used to wearing white on top much.

Lisa, I think that is a great idea and was thinking about it yesterday. I don't have a yellow necklace (must get!) but have a yellow scarf I think would look pretty.
