Skinny jeans

Over the years styles have changed and some made a comeback.

I’ve actually kept my skinnies because I love how they look and fit me. Dark wash is my favorite over light wash and they look great dressed up with a belt for friends night out or date night with a partner.
I have them in low, mid and high rise. I’ve seen a rise in popularity with skinnies again and was wondering how many of you are still fans of skinny jeans?

Well I've got my skinnies on hold right now. Mostly wearing just straight leg and wide-leg jeans at the moment.

I keep my narrowest jeans around for wearing under dresses because I don't wear leggings and don't always want to wear tights.

I don't really have any skinnies but I have some slim fit jeans that I wear in winter. Mine are getting quite worn but I probably will replace with another slim pair. I just like to have the option of different shapes to wear.

I like a mid rise for skinnies on me.

I'm not wearing them right now. I have other cuts that fit just as well (and may be more comfortable). But I'm not getting rid of them! It's completely possible I will pull them out again when I get the urge to wear a certain outfit, or need to wear something suitable for warmth/rain/tucking into boots. And I don't want to go through the bother of re-sourcing a good fit.

I don't wear skinny blue jeans, but I do have a pair of skinny charcoal cords and a pair of skinny black jeans that I like a lot. They feel softer and more forgiving than skinny blue jeans to me.

I still wear them in cooler weather. I really cannot tolerate them if it is above 55 degrees or so. I have them in black, gray and dark and light denim. I wear them with oversized sweaters, flannel shirts, knee length sweater dresses and duster length cardigans. I will rotate my footwear( Birkies, booties, slouchy boots or knee length boots depending on the weather and how many times I need to take my shoes off during the day ( I do home health visits and am required to remove my shoes when entering a home. It is a comfortable outfit that I can work or lounge in, so I plan on continuing to wear them.

Jess I have always preferred slim cut to skinny - I don’t like the feeling of tight denim on my calves and I feel it looks better on me. I do have a pair of black ponte type pants that are more a skinny style that I wear if I really want that look.

Both my cords and black jeans are from Loft. The black jeans have a very subtle polka dot that amuses me. I don't do anything fancy with them, generally an oversized sweater or blouse.

I kept one pair of slim-straights but I don't grab them often. I think they can look great and modern with the right styling, which for me would be balancing the slim with some relaxed pieces.

I have one pair of skinnies that I still enjoy wearing paired with knee high boots in the colder months. I don't wear them often but it's fun to put them into the rotation to mix things up from all the wide legs for a change.

I have a few pairs of slim straight jeans, and several pairs of slim straight pants. They seem to be my go to when traveling, as they’re easy to pair with tops and they don’t touch the floor in a public restroom.
