Skinny cord - need help

I received the Banana Republic Skinny cords today but I am not sure how to style them. All suggestions welcome. I tried tucking them into my black tall boots but there seemed to be too much fabric pooling above the boots. Next I tried my Burbury flats but they looked too long. They also looked too long with my loafers. What do you think? I am also thinking the cement color is really not my color. The boot pic did not was bad so I need to retake.

Deb - what about booties?
It's amazing how much longer those pants look in #1 compared to #2. Do you think they need hemming?
I think the colour is quite nice - it's very neutral, so could suit a variety of toppers.
Gorgeous white shirt btw!

Merwoman, I tried them with my Clarks booties and did not think they looked right. I will try again and take pics. The blouse is Foxcroft that I purchased from NAS three or so years ago. I got so many compliments on it I purchased another.

The white brightens up the colour very nicely. Too long is easily fixed, although you know how Angie loves scrunching.

As for styling them, you're off to a good start. Turtlenecks, V-necks, long-sleeved Tshirts, with the accessories of your choice.

When I look at them, I see a good pair of basic neutral pants. The sky's the limit.

JR, I do not mind them scrunched but I think they need to be turned up just a hem length. Maybe I will wash them in hot water and put them in the hot dryer. I will try other tops, also.

Tell Angie to look away; I think she has a poison eye for cords!

I am not entirely sure why.

These look like they could be very useful. I think booties would be the best for footwear. I suspect tucking into tall boots wouldn't work because while slim, the knees would probably bag out.

ok brutal honesty, I saw a lady walking up the hill the other day, I thought she didn't have pants on until got close enough to see they were skin colored jeans/cords....nope, I would not go there.
