Sizing question about the AllSaints Itat shrug

So, I see that several YLFers are rocking the AllSaints Itat shrug. I had ordered it in the silk version, but the drape isn't as drapey with the silk and when worn with the criss-cross in front, it just looked like it was swallowing me up. I'm hopeful that the sweater version will drape better, but I'm hoping someone can help me with the sizing.

TTS, or size down, or size way down?

The silk version came in XS, S, etc., but the sweater version is numbered sizes, starting at 00. I am sometimes a 00 in bottoms, but never in tops unless they run enormous.

Advice?

I have two of these. One is mostly cotton. One is wool with silk panel. The wool and silk one is much better in terms of draping. They are not super close fitting pieces (except in upper arm) so I wouldn't be sizing up in them.

If you have Amazon prime their shipping and returns are super fast.

I tried last season's Itat Shrug - in wool - and it was alpha-sized, so this one may be different. I ordered my usual XS, the smallest available size, and found the drape a little overwhelming for my very straight, small-busted figure. I'm going to reconsider now that it comes in size 00 though!

I guess my advice would be to size down 1 from your usual? I wouldn't say it runs "enormous" though, just roomy, especially for the less well endowed.

EDIT: Actually, looking at their website now I think the one I tried was the Itat Reversible Knit Tee. Similar cut, but short sleeved.

UL -- my experience with the silk and merino version was the opposite in terms of drape. The silk panels (which comprise the part that criss-crosses in front) were too balloon-y on me, and sort of suggested an enormous bust that had, shall we say, drooped.

It's possible that the sweater version will fit me the same way, I just thought maybe it would cling in a slightly more flattering way.
