Sizing on the Vince Lemming dress?

Okay, it has continued to bother me! It looks great on everyone and Angie said I should try it...and it's still on sale. I think I have to give it a try.

True Size tells me 6, measurements tell me 8. It is very possible I've put on a few since I filled out True Size, but it has been pretty close all through my NAS orders. Should I trust it, or trust measurements?

It runs TTS. I vote size 6.

I got a 6. I could fit the 4 but it felt a little clingy in the bust.

Hmmm...AG, aren't I almost consistently a size up from you? I might be in the same could get 6 but 8 was better place.

What else do we own that's the same? I got the Halogen tunic (thanks to you!) in S, and the Joie asymmetric tunic we both have is an XS.

I've forgotten what size my Joie is! But okay, the Halogen in S...you might be right. We both ordered that cat Anthro blouse but I remember you didn't keep it. I shouldn't have...not getting much wear out of it. That may be it! Still considering...if I time it right I can order 2 sizes and get one (or both ) returned before the bill is due!

I would go with the 6. I feel like I almost could have sized down.

I have an 8 and it's fine on me. I have no idea though how much of a difference a size down would have made, but I wanted to err on the side of bigger rather than smaller. I'm quite happy with mine the way it is. I have no idea what my "designer" dress size is though, never having bought one before .

I generally run between a 6 and 8 in dresses, but I'm usually a 6 in Vince tops. I tried this dress in a 6 and definitely would need an 8 ( it must have looked awful on me, I'm the oddball, no one even encouraged me to try a size up ;-)). However, it was all about the fit in the hip for me. I was in Nordies just now and took a look to see if they had an 8 there, just out of curiosity, but no luck. I think it's the universe telling me to stop trying to make this dress happen.

Mine is a 6. I didn't try other sizes but the fit seems good to me. It is not fitted at the waist, which is usually my fit issue.
