Sizing Help: Land's End ... size down?

Quick question

Found some nice Land's End stuff I thought I'd try out ... but I should size down, right?

Yes, you should. You nromally wear a size 2 or 4 if I remember correctly, so you might actually be sized out of Land's End. I have heard that from other people in your size spectrum.

Noooooo... but this dress is so pretty and the smallest is a 6 BOOOURNS.

Yeah, their stuff has been too big for me. I can't wear petites, so I had to give up.

Sized out here, Lyn, except for specific items that I buy in petite (dresses too short for me in petite, but I have a sweater in P that I wanted boxy anyway - so that works.)

In the items I've ordered (bathing suits, shorts), the smallest sizes are too big for me. I wear a 2 or a 4P at Banana Republic (so I'm small but not crazy small). Sorry.

I'm a size 0/2 at Anthro and J.Crew. I wear XXS/0 at Lands' End Canvas (their younger line) and am unfortunately sized out of regular Lands' End in everything except swimsuits and pajama bottoms. LE's petite sizes also run definitely petite in length, both sleeve and body.

LE Canvas runs more TTS, but LE runs larger and partially due to their grouping (ie their S is a 6-8-where most are a 4-6) They do seem to have som XXS (00-0) in petites.
