I wear a 30 in Paige jeans and an 8 at the Gap.

I think that they run 'curvier' than other premium denim (at least the Lauren fit), although I could be mistaken. When I was first looking at premium denim, I couldn't get into any of the premium brands that I tried on- even though they were the same size as I was wearing in other things. The new pair that I am wearing is a 30, and I don't think that I could get into an 8 at The Gap (although it's been a while since I tried any jeans on there). Maybe you can get to a store to try them out before bidding on ebay? Nordstrom's carries them.
