Sizing advice on the camis and boyshorts in the YLF store?

Should I order true to size, or order up do you think? I am talking the Shimera seamless boy shorts and the BP cami.

Go for a size small in both.

I know Angie has alot more experience with both of these brands than I do. I found they fit pretty tight. I wear a size 4P and the medium shimera shorts fit me well. I don't have the bp cami's but I wear a large in the bp cardigan.

Hmmm. Interesting. It never ceases to amaze me how differently things can fit individuals even when we are roughly the same size!

I often wear a 4P jacket, Rita (in Ann Taylor, for example). But for me, that's for the shoulders. For anything with any give I need to go smaller. No bust to speak of, whereas I think you do have some vavoom in that department (you lucky woman, you!)

I am exactly the same size as Rita, I think - I wear M in the Shimera. What size are your real straights? That might help us - mine are a 26. However, I carry a bit more "extra" around the middle than you do Suz - I'm quite certain of that, so you might take a small. I am "more waist and less butt" than Angie (rectangle instead of hourglass)

I DEFINITELY need M in the BP cami, too. I wear a 32D bra size, a 4P in most jackets and tops (or XS/S) and the S in the cami is too tight and cuts in around the armholes.

I am a solid size Medium/8P in bottoms, have wide hips but a flat butt and I take a size M in the boyshorts.

Yikes, I wear a size L in the BP cami, but I do wash and put in dryer. Maybe it shrinks?

For the boyshorts, I would only recommend them if you have a smallish (proportionally) butt. I have both the M (my regular size) and L, and I find both to actually have not enough coverage in the back but the L is too big in the front and sides.

Hmmmm. I am now hopelessly confused!

Sarah, my Real Straights are also a 26/2. I don't have a lot extra around the middle but I do on the backside! Diana's report makes me think maybe the boyshorts won't work. I have never had a pair that worked before, to be honest, but I haven't tried any since my weight loss/shape change. I really used to be much bigger in the hips/thighs/butt than I am now. So I thought it was worth a try now. Maybe not, though, because my long rise might make coverage a problem anyway. Meanwhile, Elpgal's report makes me think I should stick to the smalls!

As for the top...I'll bet I'm a small regardless. IF I could find bras that actually fit me (a whole other story) I'd be a 28C or a 30B.

Hmmm. Off to do more mulling. Haven't bought them yet! My shopping cart is emptying out again instead of filling!

Suz, yes, you are more delicate up top than I am - I think you're built more like Angie, so the S cami would probably work for you. I don't know what to tell you about the boy shorts. These are the only ones I've tried - and they work well for me, although they do ride a little bit higher in front than I'd prefer - not sure if that means they'd work well with your higher rise? I take it you don't have free returns to Nordies from Canada...

That's right, Sarah, no free returns, but right now shipping is free which is why I want to take advantage of it and order a few things I can't get up here. Well, I think I will take Angie's advice and then report back to her. She has lots of experience and although she hasn't seen me in the flesh she probably has a pretty good idea of my size and likely has clients who are similar. I'll let you know what happens!
