Well, actually it was a different meeting platform, but the gist is the same. Tonight I had a web presentation for the state photography alliance. Two other judges and I selected winners in four categories (from almost 400 photo entries) on Saturday, and tonight the winners were announced, and they had us, the judges, talk about each winning image.

I haven’t done many Zoom meetings but so far my tendency is to keep it really simple. A neckline that doesn’t shift around or need adjustment, minimal makeup and hair, and maybe an accessory.

Today I wore the Sweaty Betty dress to putter around the house and I think it makes a good simple top for this kind of meeting. I looked for a necklace to add to it and didn’t want anything too long or dainty. This beaded necklace has been in and out of my holding zone but I keep hanging onto it. I don’t even remember when or where I got it! I tend to take it on beach vacations — it’s good with a simple backdrop like this dress or a white shirt. So here’s basically what I look like in my Zoom meeting in pic 1. Maybe I should use that filter that softens all the wrinkles, LOL. I’m getting old!

Oh, and here’s an item I’m considering in pics 2-4. I really enjoyed adding a little bright red to my winter wardrobe, and wanted to liven up the colors in my summer tops as well. So I ordered this surplice top from Anthro. I think it works to elevate the Ripskirts a little bit and it also matches the Fuzzi printed skirt. And of course it goes with denim. It’s a nice clear red, which I like. Reactions?

I just realized it matches my pretty lunch today. The first lettuce I’ve ever grown! I harvested some for a tasty salad, and tonight I had a bacon-lettuce-avocado sandwich for dinner, so I’m quite loaded up on my greens today.
