I recently bought a navy linen shirt from Power of My People and it happens to be a very close match to this skirt. Putting them together created a drape-y, navy shirtdress! Other than the waist definition, the vibe is loose, simple, and neutral. I wore this to a Celebration of Life at the beginning of May. I would have preferred different shoes, but wanted to maintain solemnity. I would prefer to wear the outfit with platform heels. I had a black leather Cole Haan hobo purse (not shown) as I don't mind navy and black together.
(In the picture, the shirt hasn't been ironed yet, but I did iron it and cuffed the sleeves better.)
I'm hoping both POMP shirts will take the place of t-shirts with skirts and shorts this summer. The skirt is very breezy so it will be cool. I am looking forward to mixing and matching! Will you be wearing more loose and draped items this Summer?
