I am thrilled Simone Biles left Nike and has now signed with Athleta. As her star rose in the world of gymnastics, her share of promotions within Nike didn't rise accordingly. Athleta will support Simone not only as an athlete, but as an individual outside of gymnastics who wants to be a voice for females and children. If Athleta sponsors a gymnastics tour with Simone and USA gymnasts, you can bet I'll buy a ticket.
