Silver sandals & silver bag?

Do you think these shades of silver are too different to be paired together? I'm suspending my black sandal search and am tempted to just go for silver. What say you, Fabbers? TIA

Note: I couldn't find my size in store but the 6.5 was super comfy. I think a 7 would be perfect.

I love the Softt silver sandals but not so much the matching silver bag...JMO but I would like the Rebecca Minkoff in the soft gray with the silver...How do you think that would look?...

I'd have to see it in real life to really tell. As for the shoes instead of black - fab idea! They are totally a neutral in my book. Comfort is key. Do you already have the bag? It seems more white-silver while the shoes veer warmer like a pewter or even goldish-silver? But, I've learned here on YLF that we can pair all sorts of whites together, so why not silvers? Who knows....

I love them both and don't think they need to match in order to be worn together. They're metallics and therefore neutrals. I say pair away if you love each of them! I've definitely worn two different shades of metallic shoe and bag before.

@crutcher: I think the soft grey would be really nice. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it has silver hardware too. Grey and silver seem like a good pairing. I wasn't so sure of metallic and metallic. I saw the Soffts in person today and thought it was fine with my handbag but started having second thoughts looking at them on Zappos.
@jackiec: Yes, I own the handbag. It's more of a bright silver and the Soffts were more of a dark silver but I think that might be a good thing. If they were the same silver, it might be too much perhaps.
@Janet: Thanks! I guess I'll just be a metallic mismatcher. Being fashionable is hard work. I never have more questions than when I'm trying to update!

I like grey and silver together, too. I have grey handbag, boots, and leather jacket (also metallic/silver handbag, boots and leather jacket ) but don't wear them together, only one or two at a time. But maybe you like to match. And that's just fine in my book!
