Silver or gold

My previous thread got me thinking if I really have to switch to silver now that I have a silver hair. I took 2 similar pictures with some randome jewelry on, one with silver, other with gold. Please help me, tell me which metal suits me better.

Sorry, but I find it too hard to tell. Maybe that means both look good!

I'm not sure I can tell a difference in a photo. As Elizabeth said, perhaps both look good.

I have a feeling that my skin is more warm and hair more cold, that is why I am not sure which way to go.

Still think you can wear both metals. The silver is a better MATCH for the grey with your hair. But the gold is complementary and unexpected.

Silver is a slam dunk, but the gold still works for you since there is a bit of warm colour still in your hair.

Wear both. My coloring is like yours. I look best skin-wise in gold and like gold, but my hair looks better with silver and I have several pair of silver shoes. I have given up trying to choose and wear both, sometimes at the same time

I think silver may be a bit better but I also think you can do either depending on what you want to wear. I also do both and like wearing charcoal gray with gold jewelry.

I actually prefer the gold, as it looks better against your skin. Silve might coordinate with your hair, but I think gold work better with your skin.

I actually have cool skin on my face but I am very olive toned (very yellow) from my neck down and prefer the warm metals like gold, rose gold and copper on my body.

Love the photo bomber in the background! I also have warm skin and cool hair and wear both silver and gold as the mood strikes. I like gold with browns and warmer colors and silver with cooler colors but even that is just a general rule with exceptions.

I find the silver very... casual but perhaps slightly more flattering. But it may be that casual is simply more accessible...

I'm biased towards gold, but I think you wear it well and actually I love the contrast with your hair. Why limit yourself?

I agree with others--you can wear both. Agree with you, gold goes with your skin; silver with your hair. If you want a more definitive answer, perhaps a photo with gold and silver earrings, right next to your hair and face? For the most part though, I say go with what strikes your fancy, mood and outfit.

I'm like Shevia and Caro and Joy, and I think maybe you too- gold better with my skin, always was, but now can wear sliver as well due to my hair and quite enjoy having the choice or even mixing them. I personally prefer the gold on you but silver OK too.

I prefer the gold better. I think you can mix silver in with the gold now because of your grey. I used to only wear gold. Depending on what I am wearing, I still prefer it, but mostly I mix. My skin is cool to neutral and my eyes are light but change color depending what I wear. They can look green, or blue grey. It allows me to flip between warm and cool colors. I don't really wear all silver because my wedding bands are gold. I also have a gold bangle from my aunt that I wear almost every day. I make mixed metals work by having a watch with a mixed metal band. It subtly pulls everything together.

Thank you all. You confirmed my suspicion that gold looks better on my skin. But I am little surprised that gold is overall winner also. I have to revisit my decision to avoid gold completely. That would actually make things easier for me.
And maybe mixed media watch is in order

I think I prefer silver with both your hair and skin :). But no need to avoid gold, if you have it, and enjoy it, go for it!

Ooh!! I am jealous! I think you look stunning in both!! Lucky lucky you.

It will depend some on what you are wearing.

In my own case, my hair and skin are both so cool now that gold tends to look really "off" -- whereas I loved to mix when my hair was blonde and wore gold quite well then.
