i'm hunting for carry-on/tote bags that are nylon, can fit under the seat, reasonably lightweight and zippered on top for rainy weather/pickpocket safety.

i like this one, but is it a better idea to purchase a bag that mimics the metals you tend to wear most often? i plan to wear black knee high boots with gold trim, mixed metal earrings, etc...

i am on a budget and don't want to spend more than ~$80 on a bag that will get a lot of wear-and-tear.

any other shopping tips? i've heard tjmaxx, marshalls, etc...sell budget bags/luggage.
