Silk tee shirt dress

I recently bought this Quince silk dress and love the ease and feel. The only issue is that it is a thinner silk. I would like to buy something that is thicker and made of higher mome silk. Have you seen anything that might work?

Nice dress…I haven’t seen anything like this,but it feels like the kind of thing that would be more available in a couple of months.

Kkards, you are right. I should be patient. I wear this with a long cardigan and it is perfect for fall days.

Tibi has a new 4-ply silk dress — it’s very long and of course very expensive. It seems to span four seasons too. I think it’s only available in two colors at the moment. But perhaps a good benchmark for what to look for when the seasons turn again.

I just bought that dress too! I've become a huge Quince silk fan, but yeah, it's thin. Cuyana used to make an almost identical dress that is probably much thicker silk, if it's anything like their silk tees. Priced accordingly, though, and it looks like they don't make it anymore. I was stalking one on ebay recently.

I have some EF dresses of heavier silk. They are workhorses with toppers, all year. Mine are sleevelesss and zipper less.

Would you consider a slip to extend its use? I know they are kind of old school now, but sometimes can be very useful layer.

Joy, I plan to keep an eye on EF. I bought a linen dress from them at full price years ago and almost returned it buy it is so versatile and has worn so well.

@Indigoprint, that’s an interesting idea. I would if it didn’t interfere with the drape. I own a skirt slip but haven’t worn a full-length slip since high school.
