I've struck out on almost every front finding great pants this season, but I did find a pair of poplin stretch skinnies from, um, Dress Barn (roz&ALI) that skim over my body nicely, although they're lightweight for winter, and my Levi's mid-rise skinnies, which aren't at all tight, particularly after a couple hours of wear.

I did find straight white jeans last summer -- after a month of looking. Honestly, I think they're easier to find in the, um, "mature" sections of major department stores like Macy's. Sometimes the rise is a little higher than ideal, but they work.
