JillG - I have never heard of such an amazing invention. A heated mattress pad? Blanket yes, but pad, wow heat rises. That sounds so amazing. My husband will freak at the thought as he's always hot and bless his heart he usually does space heater detail but cuddling is not good when you are sick and don't want to share. But I just can't think of anything more awesome. Thanks for that amazing idea!!
Alaskagirl - I am clearly behind on fleece wear!! Polar fleece pants sound truly fab. I have no idea how I've survived without fleece. I've gotta go google and see what fabulous really warm permutations I've been missing. Thanks, that sounds like a fantastic idea!
Sara - you know I didn't think of thermals either. For someone that runs cold this has really been illuminating. That's a great idea.
Suz - no surprise that the leggings and sweats are definitely black!! Old bathrobe, which is ancient, is dark brown/black plaid. But actually, on Parsley and Angie's advice, I just bought a new Barefoot dreams Cozy Bathrobe in marine blue (okay it did not come in black, gray or that great midnight ombre of the blardigan). So I still have a couple of blue pieces kicking around ;-). Stretch is good and another vote for thermals. That is such a awesome idea. I do have to find some. Such a practical and great idea that I never take the time to find. must put that the "list!!" I have the doggy spaceheater - the advantage of larger sized snuggly mammal!! They are the best!!
Joy - thank you, I am finally feeling a bit better today. Nothing like sweats when you are sick. Soft, warm and not tight. I did like the ideas of thermals and fleece with sweats too. I'm thinking the lounge wear capsule may need embellishment!! Stay warm and well!!
