So many cool sandals— too many to comment on individually. I love how personal styles shine through even in footwear. Interesting to see how thoroughly the chunkier Birkenstock type has become so popular.
Angie/Zaeobi, interesting point about whether a shoe has to be open toe to count as a sandal. I nearly included the black ones-that-got-away (in the find) because of the side cutouts, then decided they don’t qualify. My old Pikolinos, which were stolen, do seem to me to fit the category, despite the closed toe & heel.
Kyle, so glad you’ve found some that work for your feet. Hope you enjoyed the concert!
Kate, I’ve just gotten my first Seibels. They seem made to last. Good luck on your hunt; you’re in luck that those are trending now.
Sally, you’ve got the full range!
LaPed, I think your first pic looks like me & the second one like you.
Chewy, love the look of your clog sandals. I had to try several pairs to get mine, then comfortably walked over a mile in them on their first outing. To me, it’s worth the search.
Bijou, those pink slides are great—I want them (but know I’d never wear them, sigh).
Thanks, everybody, for posting!
