Sorry, sometimes when I'm feeling down, I turn to my pets for comfort.
My COVID fur babies (Nyx and Luna) are now 4 years old, almost 5 on December 4. They bring us so much joy and I'm sure all of yours do to.

Would love to see your fur babies. Post away.

We now have only one cat, tuxedo shorthair 14 years old. He looks like one of yours

Irina - Love that name, Keeper. He definitely looks like my Luna, although he has more white and Luna has a lot more gray on her back.

We have two cockatiels, Nikki and Izzy. Izzy is 20 and Nikki is 12. Cockatiels are small parrots with big personalities and they are great companions.

Many of you have seen our boys. We lost Mr Skunky (not his real name) last year, to cancer. He was 11. When he was a puppy, his person gave him to us. She had a terminal illness and couldn’t keep him. While he was a very good boy, he never did anything he didn’t want to do.

Bob Barker (also not his real name) turned 13 this spring. He had been a stray at an elementary school as a puppy. I got him from Russell Rescue in San Francisco. He is a very good boy, too, but he barks a lot.

Cats are having a bit of moment here in America...

Lisa - that is ADORABLE!

Our kitties are already so big! Sonny is almost as big as Ralphie. Teddy, the long hair, looks bigger than he is because he's flouffy, but he's a little guy. They're so totally fun but I forgot that we would have 3 big boys, sooner than later.

This is Bean the British Shorthair and Bailey the Golden Retriever. Both are 2 years old. Bailey is a good girl and Bean is naughty. They both make us laugh and are so much fun to have around. I’ve only spent about 4 years total without a pet in my lifetime. Pets are the best!

No pets right now given our travel schedule. Two neighbor cats have adopted us as their back up humans. Services include calling their owners when we see a health issue, petting on demand and gym time by dragging long ribbons from the dry cleaner.

We got our dog Siena almost 4 months ago. She turns 1 later this month. She is fitting in just fine. Sweet and playful. A little bit naughty but eager to please. She is being good right now. Having a little morning nap on her daybed next to the fire (winter here). Second photo shows her in our front yard.

Apologies for not responding sooner. I'm in love with all your fur babies and can't wait to see more of them at some point.

Bonnie - love the cockatoos. They are amazing and smart animals.

Angie - I so love Sam and Jo. I agree about pets completing us.

Jailene - I'm sorry for your loss. It must be so difficult to lose someone so close. I'm dreading that day. Bob Barker is adorable

Kerry - pets are really the best. Go figure I've never had one until 4 years ago.

Olive Green - If I ever have a dog, it would be a border collie. My parents had one and he was great.

cat2 - I didn't realize that travel would be an issue with our cats until we had to travel. Good thing is we have a good sitter.

I am late to this thread, but what fantastic pics of your pets! LJP, that photo of your two is beyond fantastic.

Here's our Max (the Siamese).He is 17 and has kidney disease but is in pretty good shape, for all that.

This week I am house sitting and caring for two cats -- Ginger and Ollie. Their owner told me they ar enot lap cats but Ginger has proved her wrong.

Here are our dogs, Sunny (10, grey) and Woody (8, brown). They are catahoula leopard dogs, retired cattle ranch dogs, now accustomed to a life of leisure on fancy furniture in our home, LOL.

They have lots of adventures with us! Woody is the goofball and Sunny is more serious.
