Show me your favorite full-length warmer weather pants

I really need to get some pants to carry me through spring - I am thinking I need some in lighter colors. These are my most recent, favorite purchases with a WIW I posted in each:

Both of these are perfect for me in terms of fit, comfort, PPL - and I think they are both flattering. But I also think they are a little on the heavy side for when it's warmer. I will probably get some of the Express ones in lighter colors just because I like them so much, but are there others out there that are tried and true but a little more appropriate for spring?

What about slim pants, rather than widelegs? I am seeing a lot of slim-cut pants this spring, especially in the bright colors - or even something that's not black, charcoal or navy would be more springy, like that lovely cobalt blue, or a tan or taupe.

It will depend on your shape, but I recommend Ann Taylor's "Modern" fit pants in general. There are some cropped pants, some straight legs and some boot cuts. There are also some pants that are slightly more casual (cotton khakis for example) and some that are more dressed up.

I think it's a good idea to 'lighten up' in terms of colour for spring and summer - I know "khaki" isn't the best idea, but there are certain shades that work rather well in summer. A mushroom-y/taupe-y colour works. Navy too.

How hot does it get where you are, Lori?

Thanks for the suggestions! I am not thinking of super-hot weather, but more the chilly mornings we have in MA - it can be quite cool first thing and then warm up considerably, so it's a hard time of year to dress for.

I am in between sizes at AT right now, which is unfortunate since I've always loved their pants. Maybe the thing to do would be get regular instead of petite and have them hemmed, but if someone else sells pants that are PPL already that is so much easier!

The thing I like about the pairs I linked is they don't sag in the rear. I must have a flat butt because my pants always get saggy back there! I haven't found any cotton pants that really fit and flatter, but I've never tried the J. Crew ones so I will check those out.
