Should I try one of these LE coats?

I'm still searching for a winter coat and I thought about maybe ordering one of these LE coats to try. Has one of these potential?

This could be a really nice wool coat, but it probably wouldn't be warm enough for the coldest temperatures.

I definitely want a long coat, knee length would be best. I also saw this Eddie Bauer puffer I liked, but it isn't clear if or when it would be available again:

I've tried #1 it's gorgeous but sadly didn't fit, it was too tight in the hips and I think the next size up would be too big in the shoulders. It was fairly thin but felt warm. I loved the thumb holes which would have been great to prevent gaps between sleeve and gloves x

How easy is it to return the coats? I think 2,3, and 4 would be worth a try. They should be good quality and true to size.

i have last season's version of 2. i can't wait for it to get cold enough to use. le run very large to size.

i really like 3.

these coats are on sale on the us website.

Missvee, returns are easy, but I don't want to order all the coats at once. Ideally I'd like to try one - maybe in two sizes? I'm just not sure which one I should try first, if at all.

Thanks bj1111! For #3 I like that it has this smooth look although it is a puffer. Both #2 and #3 are rather long though, even in the petite version I would order. I think they might end up being midi length on me, although I'm not sure. I already know that they run big, I've tried one of their coats once but had to return. I thought I'd order one size down. They're sadly not on sale here and from my experience won't go on sale until the end of winter. I need my coat before that though.

Thanks Angie! I ordered #1 in that beautiful blue just now, it's the puffer I liked best. I also ordered a few other things that were on sale, two flannel button downs and three wool skirts. I got 25% off of everything, so the coat would be in my price range. I hope it works out!
