So the Pendleton Portland Collection has this really cool suit

But I may have to do some creative stalking. This website is getting the collection, but the jacket in a different pattern, Sonora Flannel (see swatch).

It IS cool. Love the Pilot Rock Red jacket; yes, it's worth stalking if you're patient. Pendleton has some gems.

I agree it's gorgeous! (Which you should probably take as a contrary indicator, LOL). But if the blazer will no longer be made, would you want the different pattern? With this stuff I often worry about cultural appropriation.
(Too many native American classes I guess). But this suit doesn't concern me for some reason. So if you can get it in the original print, and you're willing to wait until November, I can't wait to see it.

I know they do. But not all the native Americans are unanimously always on board is my impression. It's complicated. It's just my personal mission not to dress in an offensive way to other ethic groups, just because I like a design.
And, please understand, this is only MY opinion, and my concern. I always error on the side of caution FWIW. And I'm already sorry I mentioned it. Please don't take offense, Anna. I do like the suit.

Well Angie a long time ago thought I suit would be good for me. I don't need one for interviews, but I think this could work for conference wear. I could see this for going out to dinner. With the right shoes it could even work for the opera. Plus I just think it's awesome.
