My suede jacket finally arrived, and it's a keeper! But I'm wondering if I should use some waterproofing stuff on it before I actually wear it out of the house, since autumn + England = wet weather, often without warning.

Obviously I'd go somewhere to get proper stuff designed for suede clothing. But is this necessary?
