Inpsired by a recent post by AlaskaGirl I had a look on EBay for Desigual handbags. I found this one

I love it but am not sure if it is "my style". I vary between very classic and wanting to be rock chick casual. I think I could work it but am a bit hesitant.

I do have a $50 Visa Gift Card so it won't actually cost me any of my money.

Should I buy it or save my $$ for something else?

It's definitely bold, so are your clothes needing some bold? I always buy bags based on practical concerns like whether or not my portfolio or notebooks will fit in them, then once I get the shape I then go for color. See if you can get inside photos and check the measurements to see if it's a practically usable bag, then go for it!

I love this bag! I'd definitely buy it! I love pockets! I know some people who HATE tons of pockets but I'd definitely rock it!

I like pockets as well Lyn. The measurements are ok for my stuff, it's almost a messenger bag. I am going to buy it. Will post pics when it gets here.

Well, you know I'm going to say yes! My bag is beautiful and people ask me about it all the time. It looks like hand-painted/printed art, and is made of a heavy canvas that seems durable and has not faded despite the beating I've given it. I'm taking it to Hawai'i. I don't worry about about the pattern - all my coats are plain and I just can't switch out bags too often.

Qualified yes - it looks fun and functional. My only hesitation is you said your style is very classic and rock-inspired. I would personally place this bag farther on the bohemian/psychedelic side of rock. If you don't know how you'd wear it, then there is a chance it could become an orphan...

If you're not sure, I'd say no. For me, handbags and shoes elicit an automatic I LOVE IT reaction. If I have to think about it, that means I don't love it.

Hi Mo, it did get that reacion from me. I think I was just wavering as it is outside my zone a little. A little push never hurt anybody & I'm already picturing ways to wear it in my head.

This bag can change a classic outfit to a funky outfit and easily add to a rocker vibe. I say go for it, everyone needs one "fun" bag and this bag is surely fun.
