There's a form fitting Athleta Maxi, a Grecian empire maxi from Gypsy05, and a mixed fabric dress from Boden. I'm leaning yes on Athleta, I don't know on Gypsy05, and no on Boden. Thank you!

Context, at least for me, helps tremendously in answering this. What do you do for a living? What's your dominant climate? Are you a parent? Do you tend toward dressy or casual looks? Are you looking to downsize your closet? Trying to purge possibly dated items? SO much to consider
I would probably keep all these dresses, as I live a casual life, don't need professional work clothes and am not a mom crawling around after little ones!

My votes strictly from a figure-flattery standpoint: No on Athleta, yes on Gypsy05 (but it needs to be hemmed) and yes on Boden.

I love the 2 toned shorter one. I think it could be useful in a wide range of scenarios. I think the longer one is less useful and less flattering.

I live in Boulder (so generally quite casual, although I like to have some dressier pieces for interviews, evenings out, presentations, etc.). We definitely get a full four seasons here, sometimes all in the same day!

I'm not a mom and work from home currently, but I'm looking to get into some other career opportunities. For Boulder, the shorter two-tone is quite dressy!

I also travel a fair bit - I got the two long dresses because I'm creating a capsule wardrobe for a week in Miami and the Keys - I would also likely wear them in the summer here in Boulder, probably for casual get-togethers or BBQs.

I'm more or less with Anne, including the part where my opinion is purely based on figure-flattery and not lifestyle-appropriateness, style aspirations, etc.

No on the Athleta maxi (my reason: clings in some weird places), yes to the Grecian maxi (my reason: your lovely shoulders), and a "meh" on the Boden (my reason: the lower half looks amazing on you and the upper half doesn't do you justice. See previous comment about your shoulders!).

I second Charmain. Not a fan of the Athleta as it doesn't hang quite right. The Grecian maxi is pretty and would work well for your capsule. The Boden is okay, but honestly, you have such a lovely figure and I feel it is not as flattering as you deserve.

Thank you! Keeping the Grecian maxi and sending the Boden dress back - I like the IDEA of it a great deal, but I'm not happy enough with it. I think it would be one of those pieces I put on then took off etc.
