Should I keep the new cut?

I sort of like my new hair, but I think it might not be quite as fab as I was hoping. Should I go for a for-real pixie when I got back in six weeks? Or should I stick with this cut for a while? My husband says I look like St. Joan of Arc - not sure if that's a compliment!

It's cute! I haven't seen anything like it lately (the way it's cut across the earlobes). I think it all depends on what your style is and how you "own" it. It looks kind of arty/funky to me and with your pretty face I think you could totally rock it....just depends on how it makes YOU feel. Try it for a week. I'm sure you would look beautiful in a pixie too!

There's a lot to like about this. I think getting some layers/texture cut in on the bangs so it's softer across your face, without going full pixie, would disarm the "Joan of Arc" comments.

I am starting to like it a lot more - I think it's already settled a little bit. Almost 70s mod, maybe? Fun for now, anyway.

Yay from me. With short hair, I think attitude makes all the difference. If you feel good, it shows. I think you look fab...and that you would look equally fab with a pixie. Try this cut for a few weeks, see how you feel, then decide whether to go shorter.

I vote Yay for now. Keep it for at least another two months. See how it is for upkeep, and how you like it as it grows out.

I LOVE pixie cuts, really LOVE them, but you can't easily get back to a more all-one-length look from a pixie, whereas you can easily move from this TO a pixie. So for variety's sake, enjoy this look for now!

I'm with Taylor - I vote pixie! I'm not a big fan of "in between" styles in general. You look very cute in this, but I think a shorter style would be even better.
