The striped ones recommended by MaryK feel more you.
I am wishing these had a thicker sole and a little more of a substantial heel like the white shoes. Some of these brogues have such a soft sole that they remind me of soft shoe dance shoes, I just can't seem to get past it as a former jazz dancer.
And now I'm thinking the white shoes were kind of cool and liking them. So maybe it's a golf vibe or a dance shoe vibe and you have to pick one. (Yikes, I know I'm being wishy washy. I am now going through Zara return regret as I sent back some tuxedo pants because they had a workmanship flaw, a minor one. However now they are completely sold out of the pants. Do you ever regret a return?)
