I was keeping an eye out for some rose gold flat sandals (which seem to be rare this year), but ran across these and couldn't resist trying them on. Karl Lagerfeld at Lord & Taylor, and I have a coupon that will bring them down to $80, but the coupon starts today, so I left them in the store to ponder. I'm slowing my buying these days but these are very tempting.
The pros: They seem quite comfy, and I love this style. I've gotten lots of wear out of my Paul Green loafers which have a similar style. I like how the white and metallic colorblocking give a variation on that style with a bit more light/brightness.
The con: These would have come in handy for our recent weeks of cool, rainy weather, but today the tide is turning and we're heading into temps in the 80s which means I'm turning to sandals. So...it's likely these would not get a ton of wear until fall. They're a bit heavier/warmer than my other slip-ons.
What do you think? Worth going back for these?
