Should I get this necklace?

I saw this necklace at the Fossil store today and instantly liked it.

Now I don't know wether I should buy it or not. I really like the look of it and it's a length (short) that I could wear a lot. BUT the color isn't what I normaly wear. It's not gold like it looks in the pic, but more of an brass tone. But all my other jewelry is silver and the necklace doesn't really go well with my watch which I wear everyday.

Should I get it?

Um, YES! If its brass-like, it should 'go' with what you have.....I would say it depends more on whatcha wear than your watch....

I like it a lot. Matching watch to jewelry? Isn't that like matching bag/belt/shoes? Just kidding. Confession: I don't always match my watch to my other jewelry. I think it matters most for rings or bracelets that are near the watch.

It's very pretty and you love it, so I'd say go for it. I like the brassy tone and feel it goes with other metals better than a gold or silver tone, it seems more neutral.

I understand - I wear almost exclusively silver. I sometimes won't buy a clothing article if the zippers or buttons are gold. I have recently expanded to gunmetal lol. But mixing metals is in so if you love it, why not??

Thanks, everybody! I really wanted to get the necklace after you all said I should go for it, so I went to the mall one more time. But on my way I saw a really great handbag on sale and it was in fact marked down to the same price as the necklace. I couldn't get both, so I got the handbag. You can see the bag here:
