Ummlila and Cheryle (Dianthus) have me thinking about changing my forum name to Tinkerbell.

I often get compared to flying or winged creatures by the teenagers I work with. In my recent WIW post, I recounted how an adolescent told me that I looked like a fairy and helped him to feel better. I have also been compared to a wise owl, and a hummingbird. Perhaps I have some bird like qualities?

When I first joined the forum, I did a mood board and included a hummingbird as something that I thought represented my style. Interesting that the teenagers can pick up on it right? There is a certain lightness, translucence, and movement that I like in the garments that I wear, and the long cardigan I had on the day I was referred to as a helpful fairy had those qualities.

So, perhaps Tinkerbell or even Hummingbird (is that name taken? I think it may be.). would better reflect my style persona on the forum.
