I've had my eye on this nylon mock-coral pendant necklace for several months and more and more I'm thinking about it.
(They also have some cute similar earrings, but I'm more of a necklace gal.)
I could see so many possibilities to wear it with; the blue and white knit blazer, the purple dress and red booties, navy dress, blue wrap dress, red and white wrap dress, and purple Grecian dress. And I do love bold, chunky pendants.
Today was not only rainy but involved a thunderstorm that knocked my power out for a couple hours. Also, I have another hole in my ceiling from a leak, and we had to call the maintenance tech back a second time today after a toilet started leaking too. Arrgh!
There was one day last week when it was warm enough to wear sandals - for the first (and hopefully not only) time to work all year.
Living in the Pacific Northwest, sandals are more a delightful treat than a necessity because we hardly ever get to wear them, so it's not worth spending a bundle. I felt like I needed a new pair this year and wanted a medium high wedge, preferably a metallic.
I had my eye on this pair from Clarks but that's way more than I wanted to spend on a pair of sandals that I'd rarely get to wear. Also, I saw mixed reviews about their comfort. But I ended up getting a great pair of low wedges - these Clarks Ella Keys, for a fraction of the price. They are quite comfortable! I wore them last week with the red and white Tahari dress, cobalt handbag, and turquoise necklace. However, I felt like in retrospect this necklace really only works when I have black echoed somewhere else in the outfit, and I wish I'd chosen this purple necklace that I wore with this dress to the wedding instead.
