Hi Ladies,

Thanks to YLF I now often try on things that once I wound not have. So I tried on this tunic/dress today.

It's chocolate brown, lighter brown, orange and white! Not a combo I would normally consider. I quite liked it. It's a jersey fabric. I would wear it over pants/jeans/thick Ponte leggings as its too short for me to wear as a dress.

What do you think? Does this fit with what you perceive as my style? This is a bit fit and flare in silhouette which is something I don't wear much.

And it's on sale and quite budget friendly:)

I would value your opinions.

I quite like it, and since it is budget friendly as you say, you could always make a try. It seems to fit very nicely in the top and I really like the pattern, but is it just the pic or the dress a little bit snug around the hips? But I'm no expert, so curious to see other opinions
As for style, I think this is a bit more boho than your usual looks, but I think it could fit nicely into your wardrobe.

Last, but not least, I really, really like your haircut!

Thanks Harmonica! I actually have my jeans on under the dress so that's the bulge you can see:) (too lazy to take them off).

And thanks for compliment re my hair. I am overdue for a trim and I feel it looks very messy at the moment...mustn't be as bad as I think:)

I like it but at the same time I have a feeling that there may be other dresses with a similar style/shape that will look even better on you. I am not sure why that is - perhaps it's the earthy color scheme, and I am used to seeing you in very crisp colors, or maybe it's the length - would it be more convenient to be able to wear it as a dress?

Oh, that sounds familiar! I'm often in a rush, so I too leave my pants on. But the best is actually to dress for shopping. Then I often wear a zippered skirt, dark hose, neutral tank top and a cardi + a belt. Easy to take on and off and I have some accessories and basics to try a few looks.

Your hair is not bad at all! And I like messy alot too

Yes please:-) I like this colour combo for the fall and winter, it could really be a workhorse. If you find it flares too much, you can take the skirt(by sides) in any time, I do this all the time for a straighter look.
I, too, love your hair!:-) Can you share your hair routine, name and brand of your colour pls? I have similar hue and do, but in a thin hair, and always have some issues with it...see my thread on this:

I haven't seen you with this kind of colors before .The dress is ok but does it make you happy or you rationalizing because it is budget friendly and it is easy to wear?

I'm not sure what it is, but this dress doesn't seem as fab as what we are used to seeing you wear. I'm wondering if you will be able to style it with your blacks and reds or will this send you out looking for a brown jacket and leggings?

Ha ha, Una no need to 'slink away' I absolutely value everyone's opinions. And trust me, I wouldn't ask if I didn't want honest responses. It was fun to try but in my heart I knew it didn't 'represent' me well

Decision make so I am removing the picture so as not to disturb anyone else lol
