Should I bid on these?

Definitely fun shoes! There's no telling where the price will end, but if they stay low priced and you can get use out of them (and you're not SYC - are you?), I would try it.
Just set your mental maximum where you won't feel like you overspent.

I love to try expensive brands this way - sort of a sample - to see if the brand/designer appeals to me. . .

You can't go far wrong getting Fluevogs for that price, but like mnsara said, with 6 days to go on the auction they could go much higher. Then again, they might not. Give it a shot.

I kind of agree with your friend, but I would also kind of totally wear them! I think if it were me I'd snipe 'em at the minimum price or just a tiny bit over, and let nature take its course...

Well, I bid, but I set my maximum pretty low, so I won't cry if I get outbid.

I know they're chunky, but they're my very favorite color, and the remind me of my old Doc Marten oxfords.

Be careful since the seller has very little feedback - and only as a buyer. That will keep the price down, but is also more risky for you.

Oh, I love these. I've seen them in blue also - and at a weak moment almost ordered them (I didn't though!) I agree with the others - just decide on your maximum price and stick to it - good luck!

I wouldn't rebid if you're outbid, given the seller being a bit risky and the limited use of these shoes. There's also a lot of time left for the price to go much, much higher. In the future if you want to keep the price low it helps to "favorite" the item and not bid until RIGHT before the bidding ends (in the last couple minutes if you can, or at least in the last hour).
