Now that I've conquered the coat issue, it's time to focus on boots. I've ordered a pair of knee-high riding boots that I'm optimistic about (we'll see this week), and I have a pair that's up to the task of taking me through Canadian snow storms as well as the ensuing slush (they're strictly to be worn under pants, but that's cool for now). I know slouch boots are both trendy and practical, but this is an aesthetic I have a hard time picturing. Would a baggy boot augment the size of my legs? If so I'll have to give them a miss, as this is a physical attribute I'm not anxious to play up. If slouch boots were to work for someone like me, what kind of shaft height would look best? As for colour, I'd be reluctant to add yet another pair of black boots, but would think about it if it was the most flattering approach.
Over to you, slouch boot experts!
