break my no spend agreement with myself to make some NAS purchases? I had originally planned to refrain from spending on clothes until August or even September. Most of my wardrobe is new in the past year. I don't need much updating, although my style sense definitely became more solid towards Spring and Summer. To use Angie's term, I want to curate my wardrobe, keeping it updated by making careful and planned choices.
My search list would include:
1. A very nice, excellent fitting, high quality wool sheath dress in my color palette, preferably with sleeves. (Yes! Another person hunting for dresses!)
2. A long cardigan (I already have a charcoal one by EF) in a second neutral or a color. I reach for the long cardigan more than a blazer.
3. A wool pencil skirt in a good color for my wardrobe
4. A fun wool sweater dress
5. A long trench to wear over midi length dresses and skirts
6. An interesting unique long sleeve blouse in my color palette
(The next three are very low priority items and I am not even sure they should be on the list)
7/8. Replacements for my Cole Hahn brown wool coat and brown leather jacket.
9. Any type of topper that would fit my style descriptors, but is not a preppy looking blazer or jean jacket, but is also not a standard/basic classic cardigan. (I guess that is a mystery description isn't it? I know what I don't want but not what I do want!)
My main question is are these items that I should look for at NAS, or is it better to wait until later? I read Angie's post about how to shop NAS and it seems like a number of my list items are good choices for the sale. I don't have much experience shopping the sale so if anyone can weigh in that would be great!
