I promise I will take better-lit photos outside, but I could not wait!

I wanted to share the epic conclusion to my work boot search as well as a pseudo-implulse buy.

As you know, I've been on a mission to find two pairs of comfortable, slightly roomy boots to wear on my long work shifts. I needed two, specifically, so that I could switch them out (it's not good to wear the same pair of shoes every day). I've not posted them all here, but I've bought and returned sooooo many. I took a huge chance on none other than Una's Gidigio boots when I spotted them on Ebay - shoutout to Una for killer fit advice! I'm beyond thrilled with them. Slim ankle, no ice-cream-cone-calf effect, and I actually had to *loosen* the buckles to fit them over my calf, which is very unusual for me. Super comfy out of the box, and just kick-butt overall. Squee!

Second pic is of the coat I initially left behind . I managed to find one on Ebay, but it was still too pricey, so I made an offer. Happy to report that I love it just as much now as I did when I first tried it on. It's more embellished than my classic black coat, but somehow more casual as well - less dramatic due to the shorter length and softer color.

I almost can't believe it after all my returns - TWO deliveries to open and both knock my socks off? I really do feel like a kid at Christmas.
