Should I buy BB trench in khaki & change Burberry to black?

I guess I should see the BB before I make the decision but wondering whether I should bother. I'm afraid of having an expensive coat in a light colour that they recommend to avoid dry cleaning too often.

there are no sizes smaller then an 8 on line.

I have a 2 & 4 on hold in a local store BJ. I am wondering if the colour will be OK on me though. Cool greyish or rosy taupe is not good on me. I should check it out anyway I guess.

At some level, if this is going to be a workhorse coat for you, in my opinion you can't be afraid to wear it. I say try the BB trench. It will either clarify your feelings about the Burberry, or end up being a dark horse!

I feel the same as Ceit. One shouldn't be afraid to wear outerwear... the whole intent is for it to protect your inner clothing and your body from the elements. I hope you were able to try the BB on and compare!

I brought home a BB in khaki & navy. Will post pics. Maybe start a new thread. I think the khaki is brown. Cocoa like Claire said. Dunno if it suits me.

So if I decide I prefer Burberry fit & quality then maybe black is the way to go so I'm not afraid to wear it or maybe I should just keep the honey & still not be afraid. Angie wears a white one. I'm not sure if hers is washable though.
