I think Seattle is going to have another warm summer. And well my shorts are getting old and worn.
I’m trying to look at what’s out there, it’s all over the map.
I don’t want cut-offs, don’t want super short.
So do I get another pair of bike shorts (patterned), paper bag waist.
Not sure if I want long sweatpant style shorts.

Also I want these crazy Birkenstocks, but I wonder if they’ll actually make them. They’ve been “Coming Soon” for quite a while

Hi Anna!
Those are quite the Birks! I think everything is taking longer this year. I don't know if you've looked at Old Navy, but they have a pretty good range of shorts this year- from bike shorts to paper bag waist, sweat shorts, flowy ones and many different lengths from 1.5"-9".
But then, Old Navy is my favorite....

Hon, if I had your legs I wouldn’t bother with clamdiggers either! Looking forward to seeing what you find in the shorts search.

I actually like those crazy Birks better in the black and could definitely see you in them.

Wow the Birks are pretty awesome....

I think they would work with a mid thigh length short - either bike shorts or wider leg. No recommendations on where to look sorry.....

Scotch & Soda has some cute shorts on the Nordstrom site — on my phone so Finds are not working but a search may turn them up. I’ll try to grab links when I can.

Anna, those would be fun for you! You look fantastic in shorts and why not have fun with it? I hear it's going to be a warm summer after June, which will be wet. So maybe rainboots and shorts for June?

WOW to those moto birkies ! totally you.

I have no idea about the shorts. I'm just not a shorts person for myself. I think a "clam digger" slightly about the knee can look really really good. But then my "eye" could just be used to it because they are really big ( and have been for ever ) in my southeastern part of Mass. They are all over Cape Cod and the Islands ( Nantucket , Martha's Vineyard ) and Newport. But then again, so are grass green pants with little pink whales. Nuff said. LOL

FashIntern, I just retested them, and the Nike links seem to be working here in the US - and the items are available across sizes. Maybe they don't work in Europe?

I vote biker shorts. IDK about longer shorts on you...I think you should stick with form fitted or no longer than mid-thigh, TBH. I have seem some less-baggy longer jogger cutoffs. that might be cute?
